epay provides solutions to many of its retailers for the acceptance of credit
and debit card in store and on line. In Germany epay is a ZKA approved
processor of debit cards and in other markets epay works with local acquiring
banks to provide solutions to enable retailers to accept a wide range of credit
and debit cards as a method of payment.

Bill Payment

epay, through our sister company Ria Finnancial Services, has developed a
technology platform to enable customers to securely pay their service providers’ bills,
e.g. utility or telco provider. Service providers benefit from a retailer network
that offers convenience and long opening hours so that customers are able
to easily meet their commitments.
The barcode from the bill or the unique account number is simply captured at the point of
sale and the payment is collected by the retailer. epay then ensures that the
payment data is sent to the biller thereby satisfying the customers’ obligation
to pay the bill.

Prepaid Debit Card Load / Recharge

The lifeblood of a Prepaid Debit Card, for both the consumer and the issuer,
is available funds on the card to spend. The epay retailer network means that
funds can be loaded on to the card, in real time, easily and securely. There are
options to load funds directly on to the card by swiping or scanning the card at
the point of sale or to buy a voucher that enables the customer, or a third party,
to load funds on to the card via the card’s web site or call centre.

Money Transfer

In partnership with our sister company Ria Financial Services, epay is able to
offer a world class money transfer solution to its retailers and customers.
Ria is the world’s third largest money transfer company and together with
epay have developed a range of point of sale solutions that enable fast moving
retail environments to offer money transfer services to customers and not
compromise the required speed and quality of service.

Coupon Redemption

epay can offer retailers and service providers the ability to redeem paper and
digital coupons in real time via the epay point of sale infra structure.
This real time functionality means that coupons can be used for time based
promotions or repeat promotions where the same coupon can only be used
a set number of times.
