epay, through our sister company Ria Financial Services, has developed
a technology platform to enable customers to securely pay their service
providers’ bills, e.g. utility or telco provider.Service providers benefit from
a retailer network that offers convenience and long opening hours so that
customers are able to easily meet their commitments.
The barcode from the bill or the unique account number is simply captured
at the point of sale and the payment is collected by the retailer.
epay then ensures that the payment data is sent to the biller there by satisfying
the customers’ obligation to pay the bill.

Prepaid Utility

Like prepaid mobile our prepaid utility solution enables utility companies
to capture payments via the epay retail network and provides customers
with the convenience to access the service in their neighbourhood stores.
The customer can use a top‐up card or smart card / token at the point of
sale to load funds on to their prepaid meter.
