Designed to give people greater control of their money, this innovative new O2 Money prepaid card offers young people (aged 13 and over) the benefits of a fee-free prepaid card, but within a safe framework. It gives them the freedom to spend online and on the high street, and to withdraw their money from a cash point. The prepaid cards are powered through a partnership with NatWest. Cash loads for the Load & Go cards will be available at epay independent retailers nationwide in mid-August of 2009.
“I am delighted that epay has been selected to provide the cash loading capability for the new O2 Money card range via our extensive retailer network,” said Nick Kennett, epay Ltd. Managing Director. “These new fee-free products will certainly enhance the portfolio of products we offer and our new relationship with O2 supports our long-term commitment to increase our comprehensive prepaid and payment product suite.”
“In-store cash loads are an integral part of the Load & Go proposition, making it quick and easy for users to load money onto their card giving them the experience of using a card and understanding the importance of budgeting,” said Fraser Campbell, Head of O2 Money. “The epay network gives us extensive reach across the UK for this functionality.”
